Juniper Berry essential oil is an oil that I recently added to my “medicine cabinet”. I’ve been curious about it for awhile now and finally went ahead and ordered it. I’m LOVING this oil. I love woody smelling oils, I seem to really gravitate to them, and this one really hits the mark. It has a clean, woody aroma as well as a number of amazing properties.
I’ve been using this oil in the diffuser to help purify the the air in my home and I’ve been using it as a deodorant! I switched to natural deodorant some time ago, but I often use just essential oils as deodorant. My favorite at the moment is mixing together Cedarwood and Juniper Berry essential oils. I love the smell and I think that combo works better – for me – than a flowery fragrance.

As always, please remember that I am not a doctor. I write articles based on my own personal experience with essential oils and the research I’ve done. Always remember to consult with your physician with any concerns regarding the use of essential oils and their potential interactions with any medications you might be taking.
Also, remember that essential oils are extremely potent; For example, one drop of essential oil can be up to 70 times more potent than their herbal form (such as thyme or oregano).
Not all essential oil brands are created equal. There are many brands out there that won’t be effective for health or healing. They will smell yummy, but that’s about it.
